Biography
Bob Birch was born in Rahway, New Jersey and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Kean University. A versatile musician, Mr. Birch plays and performs on clarinet, bass clarinet, piccolo, flute, as well as the soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. His CD, “The Warm Moods” has received favorable reviews for his musical stylings on flute, clarinet and saxophone. Bob’s musical styles encompass jazz, swing, Broadway-style musicals, classical and rock. A dedicated music educator, Mr. Birch teaches instrumental music (brass, woodwinds, percussion and strings) at the elementary level in the Linden (NJ) Public Schools. He is also Artist-in-Residence for clarinet and saxophone studies at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Please visit bobbirch.com.
