Meghan Glynn, Vocalist

Biography   

Meghan has been performing Jazz and Blues for the past four years with jazz guitarist Arturo, in a small group format ranging from 2-5 pieces. Performance locations have included: The Piano Bar of Morristown, Cafe Arabica of Morristown, The Stone Tavern of Bernardsville, Orphan Annie's of Stirling, 16 Prospect of Westfeild, The Stanhope House "New Jersey's Premiere Blues Club", Port City Java of Bernardsville, and many more. The Band also plays at private and corporate events and parties.

 

Meghan was raised in a musical family where singing with family members was welcome all the time.  That passion for singing was further developed by participating in nearly every vocal ensemble at her high school in Bernardsville, NJ.  A natural extension of this was to participate in the musical theatre programs in drama courses and acting troupes.  Formal training included vocal studies at St. Elizabeth School and private voice lesson with Ron Shetler of Shetler Studios, NYC.

 

Meghan join Stardust Big Band in 2007 and frequently sings arrangements written for Ella Fitzgerald and by great arrangers, as well as performs solos with rhythm section. Meghan also continues to compose music and develop her own Jazz/Folk sound and has recently begun recording her own compositions.
